The Mall in London Given the Red Carpet Treatment for the Olympics
Whether you have ever been to London, or not, you have probably seen The Mall on television in some of the major sporting events and formal ceremonies in England. This icon of London is planning an incredible red carpet treatment for the athletes of the 2012 Olympic Games, and it seems it is right up their alley for excellence in presentation and awe. The red coloring of the surface has a visual effect of a huge red carpet, which offers a wonderful appeal for those Marathon and Race Walk athletes as well as the Paralympic and Road Cycling athletes of the games. It is anticipated that almost eighty athletes will participate in each race.

Greensboro, North Carolina: From Controversy to Progress
Greensboro is part of what is known as the Triad area that includes Greensboro, Highpoint and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. These cities represent some of the most thriving populations in North Carolina, a true representation of home, hearth, and American sports. Their love of their sports teams is reflected in their stadiums, the attendance of each game and the scoreboards that keep the cheering on. However, it wasn’t always so. Greensboro, like many towns of the area had to fight to get where they are.

The North Korea soccer team given a Stalinist inquisition after their performance at the World Cup.
North Korea appeared on the soccer scoreboards in the 2010 World Cup for only the second time since the inception of the competition. They were placed in Group B with Brazil, Portugal and Ivory Coast. Their first match was played against Brazil, and although they lost 2-1, North Korea played much better than most people had expected. Their next game against Portugal, however, was a complete disaster for the team, and they were defeated 7-0. Already knocked out, they then lost to Ivory Coast, with the scoreboards showing 3-0. After a promising start, this left them languishing at the bottom of Group B.

Sam Bradford, a top draft pick, has recently recovered from a bad shoulder surgery, and his name has yet to appear on the NFL scoreboards. However, he convinced the St. Louis Rams to offer him no less than $50 million over five years.

Kyle Singler – Can he find his previous form and be chosen as a first round pick?
Kyle Singler entered the NCAA as one of the best players in a very talented recruiting class. His name appeared on the basketball scoreboards for his school countless times, and he was noted by the scouts at an early age. He is a 6 foot 8, well-sized combo-forward with some fantastic skills, and just a few months ago he was considered as one of the best NBA prospects out there.

Jeremy Lin – The first American Asian to play in the NBA is signed by the Warriors.
Jeremy Lin has become the newest Golden State Warrior, and in doing so has fulfilled his life-long dream.
On Wednesday afternoon, Jeremy completed the signing of a two-year contract with the Warriors. According to a variety of sources, he also received offers from the Lakers and from Dallas. Apparently, he even received a counter offer that was even greater than his Warrior’s deal. However, nothing could lure him away from a contract with the team he spent his childhood watching, which will also give him the opportunity to play in the town where his family live.

Kansas City’s safeties had great difficulties last season. They rolled over for 327 yards to Kevin Kolb, 298 yards to the relative unknown Jerome Harrison , 250 yards to Miles Austin, and 262 yards to Jamaal Charles.
