In soccer scoreboards news, we will give a brief biography of Fernando Torres. Fernando José Torres Sanz was born in Madrid’s Fuenlabrada neighborhood on March 20, 1984. He was the youngest person who ever played for the team Atlético Madrid, and became captain at the age of only 19. Torres played in Trinidad and Tobago in the Under-17 World Cup in 2001, and in Norway in the Under-19 European Championships in 2002 – a tournament that Spain won. In 2003 Torres made his debut for the Under-21 national team.

During 2003-2004 in just 35 appearances Fernando scored 19 league goals. The first goal he ever scored for the Spanish team was in 2004 against Italy.
