1) Ronaldo
Christiano Ronaldo was born in Madeira, Portugal. Young Ronaldo was an extremely fast runner, and his feet move so quickly that they can stir up the ball, making defenders dizzy. Unfortunately, young Ronaldo was a little too greedy, narcissistic, and selfish.
His success on the soccer scoreboards has also spread beyond the stadium. With a sexy body and a handsome face, and a full name like Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, his popularity went through the roof, even more so among women. Ronaldo has definitely gained celebrity status over the last few years.
2) Beckham
David Beckham is probably the most popular soccer player on the planet. Not only does he liven up soccer scoreboards, but Beckham was actually the reason that this sport became popular among women. He was born in Leytonstone, London, and is married to a former Spice Girl, Victoria Adams. Beckham played for Manchester United in 1993.
In January 2007, Beckham announced that he was leaving the team Real Madrid to go abroad to sign a 5-year contract with Los Angeles Galaxy, which is a Major League Soccer club. His debut with LA Galaxy was on July 21, 2007 in a friendly match against Chelsea.
3) Kaka
Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite is actually Kaka’s full name. He was born in the city of Brasilia. He got the nickname ‘Kaka’ because his little brother was having trouble pronouncing ‘Ricardo’ correctly, so he just called him ‘Kaka’ for short.
When Kaka and his family moved to Sao Paulo, he dreamed of becoming a tennis player. However, his fate directed him to soccer, when talent scouts from the Sao Paulo club searched him out and chose him. So, he signed his first contract at 15, and, with his Sao Paulo junior team, he ended up winning Copa de Juvenil in 2000.
After Kaka moved to Milan, he won over 20 various awards, including FIFA Player of the Year and the Ballon d’Or.
4) Gourcuff
Yoann Gourcuff’s professional career began at Rennes and lasted until he was bought by Milan in 2006. He was not provided with permanent placement during his career at San Siro, and then he was loaned to Bordeaux. Gourcuff was trained by Laurent Blanc.
Gourcuff called the former Les Bleus “the person who made me join the Bordeaux”. Laurent Blanc contacted Gourcuff and helped him find his style of play that fits him perfectly.
5) Fabregas
His full name is Francesc Fabregas Soler and he was born in Barcelona on May 4, 1987. As a child, Cesc loved playing soccer. Fortunately, his grandfather sent him directly to the Barcelona Soccer School to study and develop his talent. Cesc spent most of his time playing soccer.
Now Cesc is the pulley of the Spanish team. There are now many clubs who want to get Cesc’s great passes, even Barcelona – his previous club.
