The 4 Most Improved Nba Players In 2011

There are a few players in the NBA who have improved their game to a great extent this season, and who have had a huge effect on their teams overall performance. These players were not rated before the season started, but they have exceeded everybody’s expectations and have played really well. In a feature, I have listed who I consider to be the most improved players in the 2010/2011 season.

Kevin Love
Love has been THE consistent player of the league since 2010. With the basketball scoreboards showing that he recorded a 30-30 in a game against the Knicks in 2010, Love was known as the double-double machine and now in 2011 he is leading the league in rebounds. He is undoubtedly one of the most improved players in the NBA and he has really helped the Minnesota Timberwolves improve their standings in the league.

Russell Westbrook
The Thunder boy has improved a lot since his second season in the league. In 2010 he was able to achieve career high points and finished the year with 38 points, 9 assists and 15 rebounds. Now in 2011 he is more explosive than he was in 2010. His efficiency has increased and he has made the Oklahoma Thunder City a threat to all sides. He is now regarded as the most sophisticated point guard in the NBA and with these performances there is no doubt that he will compete with the NBA’s top point guards like Derrick Rose and Rajon Rondo.

Raymond Felton

Raymond Felton has improved greatly this season as a player, contrary to many people’s expectations. He was traded to the Denver Nuggets in February 2011, however he contributed a lot to the New York Knicks. He is now known as a reliable point guard who can score for his team and an All-Star candidate. He is on the right track and is on his way to scoring a career high points, assists and rebounds. Perhaps next season he can build on this success and develop his game even further.

Paul Millsap
Paul has been the starter for the Utah Jazz after their old starter Boozer joined the Chicago Bulls. Millsap started all 45 games for the Jazz in the 2010-2011 season and has done a fairly nice job. Taking advantage of the exit of Boozer, Millsap has greatly improved his all-round performance in the team and has proved to be a key player for them. He is shooting at a much higher percentage and has recorded a double-double 14 times. He played a major role in marking the first home loss for the Miami Heat with the unbeatable trio, LeBron, Wade and Bosh, scoring a career high of 46 points in that game.
