In a basketball scoreboards review, we look at the Celtics and the teams that want to beat them the most! Whenever we hear of the greatest rivalry in the NBA the following two teams come to our minds: the Boston Celtics and the LA Lakers. These two teams have one of the most intense rivalries not only in in the NBA but in any league in any sport in the world – It truly is as passionate as they get! At the moment, the Celtics are on a winning streak and it has been very difficult for other teams to beat them. Everyone wants to scalp the Celtics, but no more than the following three teams:

1. Los Angeles Lakers
As already mentioned, the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics are THE rivals of the NBA. This rivalry began in earnest in the era of Bird and Johnson. This rivalry was so intense as both of these players were in their prime when Bird played for Celtics and Johnson played for Lakers. Both the players bought much to the game and played each other several times. The basketball scoreboards showed that the two teams met in the 2010 NBA finals where the Lakers emerged as the victorious team though the Celtics led the Lakers at one point. This rivalry is unarguably the greatest in the history of NBA. It is rightly said that great teams make great rivals.

2. Miami Heat
Boston Celtics are doing really great this season, and are very capable of beating whatever team is put before them. They have defeated Miami Heat twice already this season and there is seemingly nothing that can stop them. Miami Heat, the money team of the South, are currently the team that everyone wants to beat, and this East-South rivalry is hot right now.

3. Chicago Bulls
This great rivalry between the East coast and the Mid-west is as strong today as it has always been. The two two teams met in the 2009 NBA playoffs where the Celtics had the edge over the Bulls but the loss of Kevin Garnett due to an injury proved to be too much. This rivalry is also a matchup between two fantastic coaches of the game. Both the players have the best point guards i.e. Derrick Rose for the Chicago Bulls and Rajon Rando for the Boston Celtics. There has been much debate as to who is better, however no it is hard to make a judgement about which point guard is the better. In terms of the team as a whole, however, the Celtics are edging it at the moment, but the Bulls will have something to say about that next time they go head-to-head!
