There are many MLB players who deserve to be in a better team for a number of reasons. Perhaps they are simply way better than their teammates, or maybe they are not being utilized properly within the team. The three players in the list below will all probably move to better teams next season, where they will gain from being surrounded with the cream of the baseball world. What is for sure is that the teams they leave behind will suffer a massive loss!
3. Jayson Werth
The baseball scoreboards show that Jayson Werth plays for the Philadelphia Phillies and is regarded as one of the most complete MLB players. Since he joined the Phillies in 2006, he has bought a lot of laurels for the team as well as himself. He has had a massive imfluence on the team, and this year his stats are outstanding. He has an average of .296, 27 runs and 85 RBI. The only drawback for him is his age. He is 32 but despite this, the way he is playing there is a high probability that the Red Sox will offer him a valuable deal next year.
2. Carl Crawford
The baseball scoreboards show thatCarl Crawford plays for the Tampa Bay RRays. He is the best player is Rays history and will be leaving the team soon. He won both the gold glove and the silver slugger award in 2010. In 2010 he has a batting average of .307, 19 home runs, 90 RBI and 47 stolen bases. It will be a big blow for the Rays if he goes, but the probabilty of this happening is high. His new team is set to be the Yankees. Being a free agent, he can choose his own team, and there is no doubt that the Yankees would be prepared to spend what is necessary to get him in their team.
1. Cliff Lee
The baseball scoreboards show that Cliff Lee plays for the Texas Rangers. He is a great pitcher, and a free agent. The Rangers reached their first ever Word Series final in large part because of Lee, who many consider as the best pitcher in business. He was the first player ever to pitch three 10 plus strikeout games in a single post season. The Yankees want Lee and are ready to pay up to bring him to the East coast. Watch out all the other teams next season if this happens!
